Sonic Classic Collection Help Please !

I downloaded the Sonic Classic Collection game in (U). When i turn on the game it loads fine but when I go to select a game, it plays automatically. Like I dont press anything and the charatcher runs and jumps and does the game. I dont think this is supposed to happen sonsidering its a 'Game', unless it just shows you what it was like back in the early days of sonic. Is that supposed to happen? If not how do I fix this?I am using

Firmware: 1.9Please help me!

Have you started playing it yet, or is it just showing you a preview of the game, and you need to hit start, or something similar?

I went to choose which one to play and the game started playing, Ill try pressing start
