Someone with EDGE

Can someone tell me how to update it?I need EDGE v1.8 to stop freezing my SoulSilver but I cant figure out how to. Do i need to have the previous version because right now i have EDGE v1.36.

I have downloaded it already.I followed the instructions but it still didnt work.

It might not stop all the freezes, users are reporting it works on 1.8, but still freezes occasionally.Just save often until a patch is made available.
