[Solved] Formatting encrypted HDD

So a while back, I encrypted my HDD.
I now want to decrypt it so I can use it with my TV and a USB 3.0 port.However, TrueCrypt doesn't not have a function to do this. Only for system partions.
Will formatting remove the encryption and therefore allow me to use the drive (I have started backing up the files anyway)?Tried and it worked.
So all good.Mods can lock/delete it at will.
