Shutdown Game Servers

I'm thinking of starting a new hobby, and the hobby would to create servers for games which have had theirs shutdown. I have the programming and packet sniffing knowledge to start the task, but I lack any knowledge of any games worth actually recreating a server for.Does anybody have any suggestions??

Try making a Ragnarok private server. Its Korean based, but many of the pirate servers have been knocked down over the past year. It's a pay-play MMO too.

WikipediaThere are official "Free To Play" servers where players can play Ragnarok Online free of charge, with a few differences in game play.

Also TS, I would bug you into making an O2jam one, because that's what I play and most of the private servers are either dead or retarded. But you know, it's fanbase is minuscule. So unless you don't mind catering to a tiny population without profit, it's probably not your thing.

Popularize crypticsea's A New Zero if you can. The fanbase there is almost non-existent.

O2Jam. I was about to recommend Pandora hearts, but it's been revived by Atlus.

They've made single player o2jam mods. Every song, and more are in the DLC. It'd be interesting to make it LAN/multiplayered though (but I don't see the point, since the goal is just to rack up as much points as possible(

Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds. That game was EPIC.There's also Age of Mythology, which somehow still has its server but won't for much longer.
