Should I watch Higurashi or Elfen Lied?

I'm in the mood for a bit of gore, and saying as I've already seen all the episodes of Hellsing Ultimate to date, these two anime seem to be the next best thing.People... your opinions please.

I say you should watch both.

Aah to hell with it. I'll watch Elfen Lied first.

Higurashi's not so much gory as just a general mind screw. It does have its moments, though.

I'm sure - Higurashi no naku koro ni - you made your decision - Higurashi - after six days.If you're all for the gore than Elfen Lied is your game.Either way dip your toes in both pools. They're both good series.
