Blade5406no$gba actually great for the thing that you can use it for creating codes for the DS games...EDIT: I wouldn't mind buying a real DS unit today though...

If you use a DS flashcart like R4DS etc. You can still use cheat codes.

Buying a flashcart also allows use of cheats, as Sexywogboy just stated.

I mean you can create codes for some of those flash carts...I know you can use cheat codes for the real DS...

It should automatically work. I can't see any activation options within NoGBA, so I assume it works instantly.
