RomUlation on Windows 7!

it works flawlessly for 64 bit Win7RC1 with boot camp 2.1 on a macbook ><Though I can't say the same when it was first released. BIG Puzzle :)

Using the rc.Considering that I'm a user of the betas I'd say that this has improved a lot.It's damn good now.And probably better than vista sp2(My primary os)

um... yeah, I can't really afford a new computer, so I skinned my XP to look like Windows 7... It actually looks like the real thing, aside from the logon screen....

You know that Vista came with a stripper, the same stripper that also made a bare win7 version back in the beta days... funny how things work.Win7 should be a free upgrade to existing Vista owners IMHO... as its really Vista 2.0

They just released Vista and most people haven't even upgraded to that yet. And we all saw how bad Vista was when it was first released. Is Microsoft fo real?

They just? It's been out for over 2 years now.

What's with the people complaining about Vista?
I think it isn't so bad, although I like XP more.

i wonder with all the money windows have why do they barely have commercials

I actually enjoy Vista, it's not too bad and it's user friendly

thoroughly enjoying the RC. was running the build7000 beta until I did something to make it way buggy and just found out that they have build 7201 RC available, so did a fresh install of it - 7000 was quick on my lappy to begin with, and tbh this one screams. For me personally, I think this is actually running faster than xp ever did on my laptop, no joke.Btw @branraf - believe it or not XP was actually the filler OS, as good as it was it actually could have been much better but they had to release it early because ME was such a pile manure, and a user was lucky if they could go 2 mths w/o having to reinstall it, or grabbing win2000

XP wasn't the filler OS, ME was, (it was essentially a service pack for 98SE). Then vista was the filler between whistler (XP) and blackcomb (windows 7), and it developed into an OS since blackcomb was taking too long.

I am using the latest Windows 7 RC and its working great for me. No problems whatsoever. Just need to download some plugins and it works with no problems.

Will have to concur, I upgraded to W7 (yes, upgraded, not downgraded as I would have to done Vista :P) about a week ago when my laptop desperately needed a clean install. And it runs damn fine aside from a few problems with the back light brightness getting stuck.

maybe ill install this to my next computer(hoping ill get it soon)
