Reading :)

my favourite series is the Cherub series

I like reading, from manga to comic to novels.
I really don't have any favourite series, if I see a book with a good strory I will read it, just like that.

Does anyone read the blurbs for books/comics etc? I reckon they wreck the books since they give away too much.
Aslo, i forgot to say my fav comic is 'v for vendetta'

MysticMajaWe study art, basically. : ) Where I study, you get to choose two tracks (kind of like minoring, but different) so you get to pick where you'll specialize in. Mine is Creative Writing and Philosophy. The Book Thief is really good! It made me cry lol. I first read it in highschool but I still read it up to now : )

Cool!
I LOVE CREATIVE WRITING! I think i'm pretty good at it too :) Anything from writing poems, lyrics, short stories, plays :)
Philosophy interests me too :)
It's just the fact that I really want to do this sort of stuff at Uni, But I don't know where it's going to get me in life :S
Ok I will have to read it, it's based around WW2 I think?

koyuchanOh my friends read harry potter tooo, but i prefer the movies, Their names are hard to remember :(

My favourite series is:
The Pendragon Series by D.J MacHale.Whats your fave book/book series and why? :)

OMIGOSH, I LOVE THAT SERIES, but i only like books 1-8. 9-10 got boring.PRENDGRAGON FTW!!!!!!!!

Reading? READING?
*smashes through imaginary wall*
I love reading! 120 (or thereabouts) decent-length books this year, still going strong!
Mostly science fiction, some fantasy. NO TWILIGHT, ERAGON OR HARRY POTTER. God, I hate those books so much since the movies of them came out. It just makes me so annoyed that they slashed the plot for all those to make a movie. If you read any sci-fi, Peter F Hamilton is a must.

i used to read books a lot .
now i just read manga .
but last year i read the whole twilight series in a week .
i used to think it was good but the movie ruined it T_Ti still read science, history and mythology books though.

It's fun, it trains your imagination :)

I'm reading the way of shadows by Brent weeks

Stephen King, The Roleplaying-Books from Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone - and I`m a huge "John Sinclair" Fan ;D - which is a so called cheap literature, but it`s grown to a whole Saga over the last 30 years. So, I need Zombies,Ghouls and freakin` Vampires even in my books.Nothing new about that. ;D

Anthony Horowitz.Horowitz Horror and Alex Rider Series FTW.
Waitin for Yassen to come out!Getting the manga style Skeleton Key soon... maybe...

Some good books that I really enjoyed:
To Kill a Mocking Bird
Bolo
The Road
Great Gatsby
1984
Animal Farm
Night
The Crucible
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
A Seperate Peace
