Radio stations that play popular music.

While I was riding the school bus in middle school, the radio would be tuned into some station that wasn't quite trash. But it did play a ton of overrated songs. Such as that bed rock song and things by the black eyed peas. I don't really mind since everyone that rides on the same bus as me either acts like a punk or just acts like a dumbass. Most of the time they act like both. What really bothered me were the people who ran the radio station. They discussed nothing interesting, nothing they said entertained me, and they were simply the boringest(not a real word) people ever. They couldn't even do their prank calls correctly.Every Wednesday or something, they would make a prank call to some company or store manager and expose them for "false advertising". Such as one time when a hospital offered free mammograms, they pretended to mistake it for a monogram. That's not really false advertising at all. They would just nitpick at every small detail. Sometimes they also pretend to become very angry and start to yell at the people on the other end of the phone. Basically all they really do is get in an argument over nothing. Right before they lose the argument, they pull out of it and say "This is Mojo in the Morning(their radio station) and this is a phone scam(What they called their prank calls). You're on the radio."

Radio has lost it's charm. Stations like Radio One, Real Radio etc. are now full of wankers, presented by wankers and made for wankers. People like Chris Moyles and Jo Whiley should be drowned at birth, nevermind given their own show. If I was you I'd either remake Speed, and unless these people are purged from the air, bus goes bang! Or you could I suppose just listen to an iPod and drown out the stupid, nonsensical garbage that is modern radio.

They play the same song like more than twice an hour, the most ever was when I was listenning to a radio station during a road trip, a popular song was played 4 times in one HOUR! WTF? Stop spamming the same song! I want to listen so some other songs! That si how people get bored to a song! They hear it all the freaking time! <damn, forgot to put the Caps Lock on...

if you're in the LA area, just tune to 102.7, this station rotates the same 5 songs all day long.

I despise people who think they're badasses. I'd like to see a guy in prison who is in for life roughen them up and show them a piece of the hard life...T_T...that's actually quite a successful program in some states. ;Dhttp://www.wlns.com/Global/story.asp?S=12548494
http://www.michigandaily.com/content/film-exposes-life-juveniles-adult-prisonsI couldn't find the exact documentary I watched, but it was about "gang-banging" teens going to talk to prisoners who were in high security prisons to experience what it was like to be in prison for real.

Same thing in the city, same frequency too. It's like, OMG, I Don't Mind, Forever Young, California Girls and Bad Romance. How irritating.

I never do listen to the radio...it's just a bunch of garbage where I live as well. If I do, it's when someone is driving and it's usually 700 WLW. Ok station, but not music.

One of my friends listens to a country radio station a lot. At home. Yes I noticed that at 1:00 p.m. on tuesday last week, they were playing a REALLY bad country song called "I'm a dirty country boy".The next day, exact same time they played it again. I listened a little longer and they played a song called "thank god for the workin' man". I tuned to another station. The day after that, same time, they played those two. Wondering which song would be next, I didn't tune out yet and after those two... "I'm a dirty country boy".Radio stations are ridiculous, but it could be because of that new law the RIAA passed that makes a radio station pay royalties EVERY time they play a newly-released song. Maybe we'll hear some new stuff in a few years.

I'm proud to say Radio Station in my country is awesome xD though there is only one DJ that makes you want to stay tuned in. The other DJ's can be annoying to me but that one DJ, Frankie is his name, he's really entertaining. You won't get bored listening to him just talk. And he usually plays really nice songs though they usually play requests.
