if you have the box that the R4 came in, then there should be a website address at the bottomor you can look here for your card, and download the latest firmware http://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/

its still not working!!! i have two different ones. one just keeps saying loading and the other one comes up menu?

the 1 that says "menu?", hasn't got the right firmware on it, or has the right firmware, put on incorrectlyand the 1 that says "loading", cannot play the game, maybe 1 of the newer games, and an anti-piracy issue

Answer this.What does the label say exactly on your r4?You need a specific firmware.Also prehaps you installed it wrong?

it just says R4 Upgrade revolution for DS (NDSL/NDS)
