(All Credits go to Yellow Wood Goblin)To do this tutorial what you need is an R4 Cart Original that should look like this.R4 Wood can work with clones of the original R4 cart, if you make a backup of everything on your Micro SD card you can try R4 Wood to see if it works. If not then just put your backup files back on and your cart should boot as usual.

Spoiler: Step 2 - Unpacking
Place the file on to your desktop and unpack it.
If you don't have an unpacker download one of the following:7-zip - Windows
The Unarchiver - Mac
WinRAR - Windows/Mac/Linux(All of these are free)
Spoiler: Step 3 - Backing Up
You need to create a file on your desktop called Backup, in there you are going to put everything from your Micro SD in.So just drag and drop all the files in!
Spoiler: Step 4 - DELETE EVERYTHING
Don't be scared everything should be backed up! If it's not go back to Step 3You can download a SD formatter here
Spoiler: Step 5 - Add the Wood R4 Firmware Files in
Simply drag and drop _rpg and _DS_MENU.DAT in there.
Create a folder called Games.
Drag all your .NDS and .SAV files from your backup into the Games folder you just made.
Spoiler: Step 6 - Renaming .SAV Files
For your .SAV files to work they need to have .nds.sav on the end and not .SAV to do this you can ether rename each one.
