R4 card help

i bought an R4 card for DS, downloaded the softwear from the website,put softwear on memory card and a test game...but when i put card in DS the screen stays white with MENU ? on...does anyone know why or what im doing wrong?

wrong firmware you put on it, or right firmware put on incorrectly

i downloaded from r4i.co.uk it doesnt say what version it is, but its def a DS one not DSi

firmware is what you need to operate your R4, on the box your R4 came in, there should be a website address at the bottom, visit the site, anddownload your firmware. that then needs to be extracted using winrar, and then put on to your microSD card
