Bring your dad to visit the RomU homepage. Tell him that this is a rom download website. Then find the forum button and clicked it. Your dad should know that this is a RomU Forum with absolutely no porn ;D Show him the rules that say keep the forum Pg-13 ;D

does that mean you have tried?!?!?!?! what is wrong with you?!?!?!?!?!?!

It's called a child board because the person who made SMF decided to call it that.

I'm amazed that no one has actually answered the question yet... Our rules state that the forum must remain largely PG-13 so obviously we will not have porn, and especially not with children.A child board is called as such because it's a child of another board. There are various levels, if you go to the root that will be all the root level boards, a child board is then simply a board that belongs to one of these boards. Another word would be a sub-board or a sub-section.

In local forums I frequent who either uses lame vBulletin or IPB (Invision Power Boards), they do refer to a child board as a sub-forum.
