Well-it's not too hard-but if done wrong...that is the risk.I have hacked other's before-just about any sort-but needs some patients and know how.You can download games via the psn store-you just need credit card details and such (playstation network sotre-it's pretty much built in)

my psp slim has the number 8b behind the battery,should it be ok just to go ahead with the mod,or do i need to run psp ident.

I think it's safe...but is it a 1000 model or 2000?Run ident if 2000-1000 are safe to work :)

It is a slim 2003.Went ahead and done it,works fine cheers
