It's from Microsoft, so it's quite similar.

codemeister1990bleh, I've never even seen an xbox emulator yet, not that I'm interested in that box of crap
and gamecube emulation isn't that bad actually, super smash bros melee has been able to run at normal speeds
Last I knew, Dolphin was increasing compatibility at the sake of speed, and SSB:M was getting a good 2-6fps on modern systems then...

Actually it's playable on my system, although I can't get the sound to work right.

PCSX2 works nicely on my laptop (700 euro).Also,
3GB = 60 euro
4GB = 71 euroFor 11 euro I'm all prepared for 64-bit. Plus, in the future old memory becomes more expensive.

Oh yeah Loony, Cxbx emulator's goal was to convert games from a Xbox executable into a Windows executable.

don't get me wrong, but aren't file converters and emulators two completely diifferent things?

Yes, converters convert something that can be used by something else like values or types etc., emulators emulate a system on some sort of system etc. It's just that since Xbox is built close to a PC, you can simply convert the image from a Xbox game to be used on a PC. I don't think it works all that well though.
