PS1 Help.

Ok so I have a PSone which is smaller than the average Grey PS1.
I download some games BUT I want to play the games on my PS1.
Do I need any extra software?
All I know is that PS1 uses CD-R which I have plenty of :)
Also one of the game's I download says in the text file "Needs Bleemcast Beta Disc" , what is that exactly and is it used for playing on PS1?

U Need A modchipped ps2 ,download the game then with imgburn burn it to CD-R Then Play!Modchipps in Australia:http://brisbanemodchips.com.au/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=50_51&products_id=133 - 25$

As far as I know, a modded ps1 is also fine. Although I can't help you when it comes to finding the modchips.I just play the psx games on my PSP.

So I can just burn the files to a CD-R and play it on my chipped PSOne?

Yeah, I guess so. Can't really help much, since I've never had a chipped ps1.

theoretically yer but it must be in iso format and it must be burned with ImgBurn and u must have a modchipped PS1

Turns out my larger , grey PS1 was chipped.I tested some games and it works like a charm.
