Hi! I'm playing it on a original R4 with latest Kernel but my bf is has a r4 clone, he was playing it but when he wanted to continue a little later, his save file was corrupted and he had to delete it. Is it because he has a clone?

what!? why would you want that O_o the dutch release is horrible O_o The voices are waaaaay to high, and it's way to hollandish, which makes it really irritating to play it for flemish people. Besides, it's much more fun to hear it in english, since it's located in Londen. Also, the first game wasn't translated into dutch, so if you're used to their voices in english, it's quite hard to switch. Macht der gewoonte I guess

Yoshi2889Yes it is good. The first puzzle is simple.

I used 2 hint coins on the first puzzle. lol. Afterwhich, I haven't used a single one. It was easy up to this point, I'm now going to meet the future Luke.

I'm playing the Curious Village with english screen text and Japanese voices :oIt's even horribler then Dutch voices as I don't understand a crap of it... "-.-

If I would compare this to the 2 prequel, this would be ranked 3rd. I find the puzzles a tad easier (without the S.Hint) and the story is quite revealing in itself. The mystery is half open and the investigation is tedious and unexciting than the prequel. Nothing to make you wonder what would be the mystery 'something' actually is. It is not a bad game, it just falls short than its predecessors.I still love professor layton though. My 2 cents. Don't flame me. ^^
