Problem with Yahoo in Firefox
I
Whenever I go to Yahoo in Firefox, it says my browser isn't supported. I have the latest Firefox and I've tried everything that I can think of Deleting Private Data, Uninstalling and Reinstalling Firefox, and cleaning the registry. I also have a problem with myspace, it always takes me to the mobile part of the site. It's almost like sites are detecting my PC as a mobile phone. I tried the sites in IE and they work fine. So how do I fix this problem guys?
T
I'm using Firefox 3.5.2 and can visit yahoo.com without any problems.Do you have NoScript installed? Have you allowed Yahoo.com?
I
All I'm using is Ad block plus, here's a screen shot of what I'm getting.

T
What version of Firefox are you using? It says right on the page it supports Firefox 3.Are you still using Firefox 2?
I
I know it says it supports Firefox 3, I am using Firefox 3. That's the problem.
T
What version exactly are you using? (Help->About)
I
3.5.2
T
What do you get when you go to this page:
http://m.www.yahoo.com/?
I
It loads up just fine.
T
Odd.http://www.yahoo.com/ redirects me to http://m.www.yahoo.com/ like it should.I'm not sure why it isn't directing you correctly. I thought maybe there was a "version spoof" option of Firefox that could make websites think you were using other browsers for compatibility issues, but I can't find it anywhere, maybe that was in Opera.
S
Err mine doesn't redirect either. Works fine in Firefox though.
I
Firefox does this on other sites too, but if I try to use IE they work fine. I wonder whats happening.
M
...incompatibility prehaps with this new version, has it happened before the update?Mine's coming up fine-I have yet to update my firefox...too lazy.

3.0.13 is my exact version btw
I
Maybe I should try downgrading. :)
Edit: Didn't work, any other ideas?
T
I'm not sure what I'm doing different. Honest, it works just fine for me with 3.5.2
What addons do you have installed?
Edit:
Screenshot after I type in www.yahoo.com

B
Does it also do the same with IE?
I
@TirithRR
I have AdbblockPlus 1.1.1, Auto Shutdown-InBasic, Microsoft .Net framework assistant 1.1, Norton IPS 1.0, Norton Toolbar 3.7 (Disabled), and Daemon Tools Toolbar (Disabled). None of them are new though.
@Blade5406
No, I can load it fine with IE.Also, this has happening for a couple months.EDIT: I disabled all of my plugins and it still wouldn't work.
T
Hmm. I uninstalled the .Net Framework Assistant after Microsoft automatically installed it. I thought maybe that could be causing issues, but I reinstalled it any couldn't repeat the problem...I can't install the Norton stuff though, since those are integration parts of the Norton program which I don't have.
I
I'm sure that the add-ons aren't causing it, I've had all of them for ages, even before the problem started.
T
I'm pretty sure you haven't had the Microsoft .Net Framework addon for ages, since it was just released a couple months ago. :) (and caused much anger from the Firefox users).
