possible to use cheats with Wii/GC games on me modded wii?

i did a google search for the wii part, but wasn't sure on how to phrase it for the GC part -.-"so could i like download the action reply disk, and use it with my Wii for Gamecube games? or does it have some kind of hardware?for the Wii...same question basically..except as far as i know, there is no action replay disk -.-" so is it possible?PS. i only use cheats with games i've beaten at least once -.-"
