Portal is Free (For a Limited Time)

I did a quick search on the forums and didn't see a topic for this, so I thought I would announce that until the 24th of May, Portal is free to download on Steam. To all of you who have never played Portal or have had to borrow it from a friend, now is your time to get it. Woo!

Re: Portal for FreeI thought this was gonna be another keygen thread thing, but... wow. Seriously?

Re: Portal for FreeOh wow, thank you. I didn't see that at all.And WOW, that's pretty awesome, I love Portal and I wouldn't have gotten it on the PC any other way.Yay Valve.[me=Natewlie]is downloading now.[/me]

Re: Portal for FreeThis shit just got real. You're not bad for a Canadian, you know? Bacon treats for you.

Re: Portal for FreeSo this is only on steam? What about us who don't have steam?

Re: Portal for FreeThen get steam.A free game is a free game, c'mon.

Re: Portal for FreeYep. Accounts are free, and the app' you need is only 1.5 MB.Plus Natewlie and I are on there. Isn't that enough reason to join?

Re: Portal for Free@MessoMesso (since, for some reason, my noobishness is preventing me from quoting you): I'm only half Canadian (on my mom's side) and am living in the good old U.S. of A, but I do associate myself with the great North more than the Land of Opportunity.@hYpNoS: Unfortunatley, yes. This offer is only for Steam users (it's a welcome present to Mac users who can now run Steam). But like Natewlie and MessoMesso said, Steam's pretty small and it'll be worth the download.

Re: Portal for FreeGogogo Canada's awesome and sexy. Also Steam probably has the strangest deals ever on it, if you want a bargain every once in a while, Steam's there for you. Although there are problems with it, it's easy to overlook.

Re: Portal for Free...I think I'll just buy the orange box.SHame I missed out on the $25 deal for ps3 :(

Re: Portal for Free"Also Steam probably has the strangest deals ever on it, if you want a bargain every once in a while, Steam's there for you. Although there are problems with it, it's easy to overlook." - Natewlie(Still lacking grasp of the"Insert Quote" contraption) Reminds me of the time I got L4D2 50% off.

Re: Portal for Free@Canadian:
There's a problem with quoting and to a lesser extent modifying posts today. You're not as idiotic as you make yourself to be. I think...

Re: Portal for Free@MessoMesso:
Phew. I was starting to think that I was becoming one of those technologically-challenged old persons.

Re: Portal for FreeThat depends. How old are you?-secretly wishes for the Canadian to be a fellow jailbait-

Re: Portal for Free@MessoMesso:
I'm not going to think too deeply about that wish...*coughyescough*

Re: Portal for FreeFUCK YEAH!-smooches the Canadian V–J day in Times Square style-

Re: Portal for FreeI pull MessoMesso in close, gazing deeply into his eyes.
"I must depart for now, as Portal is done installing. Rest assured, though, that I will return. Also, mind your language."

Re: Portal for Free-swoons-What a romantic...Also: Portal downloaded for you fast, huh.
