Pokemon Soul Silver Cheats

I have got cheats for pokemon soul silver, added them to the system file on the R4 card, changed the names to cheat.dat and usrcheat.dat. On the DS it doesnt say when i press Y on the game that it cant find any cheats but no cheats are coming up.I have cheats for other games but they are in the ROMS folder. Will someone please help me!!!!Urgent!!!!

There is a problem with some flashcards such as the R4DS and all of its clones (M3 Simply, N5DS, ect) which limits the number of cheats that are displayed for games. This means that cheats for games that appear at the end of the cheat file are not displayed, this includes games for The World Ends With You, Yu-Gi-Oh, Trauma Center and others.You have four options, the first is to get a new flashcard, the second is to delete the games from the cheat file you don't plan to use, the third option is to move the games to the top of the list and the fourth option is to use an alternate firmware/loader for your flashcard such as YSMenu, AKAIO and so on.Before posting about games not having cheats in the forums, please check the GameList.txt file to see if the game really does have cheats.

Well, what do you have now?

I Don't Know. I downloaded one and put Pokemon at the top, saved it as CHEAT.DAT in the system folder, went to it on the DS and pressed Y and NOTHING happened

I used the R4 CCE software to delete everything from the file except the game cheats. What Now???

What R4 do you have and what firmware are you using?

On the R4 I press Y on the game and nothing happens? Is that the Problem???

I'd just download the usr_cheat.dat file to cheat.dat and put it in the /SYSTEM folder where the other one is.
Just replace it with the new one and see what happens.Backup your files first.
