Pokemon save file erased due to corruption?

So apparently my saved game on pokemon black 2 was erased due to corruption? I'd only been playing for a couple days, but still I had some dream world pokemon on there so im kinda sad, also want to know why and how this happened before I try and pick up the game again, using acekard 2i

All I can say is back up your stuff next time.I had about 50 copies backed up for just one game and found corruption in the last 2. It only set me back about 4 hours of gameplay and not 200.

I had this happen too but am just using DSTWO's save states now. I think that's what happens if you keep turning things off during wifi events (trade) or events that get you to save before doing them..
