Pokemon Missingno :O

anyone knows ways to get it in the various pokemon games and what they do? o.o
i remember in Red and Blue
i got it on cinnabar island at lvl 99 then made it level 100 and it evolved into a Nidoking
then after a while the only pokemon i would encounter were pidgeys =="
so yeah that stuffed up my game
what did everyone else get from that awesome glitch? :D

I wonder why level 255 was the level cap.. I was most displeased when I used a rare candy on my Snorlax and it went to level 0.

255 is the maximum value in hexadecimal.

well i found another today in pokemon red as i was playing the rom
and it evolved into a level 255 growlithe
