pokemon gold heart and soul silver english patch

Will this keep my current save file on Soul Silver? Or will it erase the memory, making it so I have to start all over again?

Save files are external files, so make a copy of your pokemon file, patch it and try. If it won't read your save file then you just use the unpatched copy.

Does this patch make everything English???

I just downloaded and completed a "repair". I'm still having the same problem another poster had where I can use one patch or the other, but not both. After the first patch the nds file is about 125k (from 132k) if I patch a second time, it's down to zero. BTW, I did follow your link in the first patch, but I wasn't sure where to download it.Help Please

could u upload this patch to sumwhere other than megaupload it kinda sucks since u can never download anything from there

*HOW TO PATCH*01. Open xDelta GUI.exe.02. Make sure the tab Patch is selected.03. Press the Select Patch button.04. Browse for and select the patch for your version of the game.
HGE.patch for Heart Gold English Patch, and SSE.patch for Soul Silver English Patch,
HGEF.patch for Heart Gold English Patch with Freeze Patch,
and SSEF.patch for Soul Silver English Patch with Freeze Patch.05. Click Open.06. Press the Select ROM button.07. Browse for and select your clean ROM.08. Click Open.09. Press the Apply patch button.10. A new file should be created in the same place as your ROM was at.
It will be the same name, but with _patched after the original name.
This is the newly patched ROM, enjoy!

um.....what is a freeze patch...... is it to prevent glitches?

the patch still doesnt work i used the ssef patch and still japanese somethins wrong with the patchim playing pokemon soul silver

so if I patch this will it change everything that is in Japanese in the game to English eg: Pokemon name, item names and most importantly dialogue in the game?

I have an older version of your English patch, which works great by the way, but I want to update it to 2.5c.But I already have anti-BSOD and anti-freeze in there, is it safe to patch again?Edit: Minor grammatical correction

i try to update my patch to 2.5 but it stays forever on 0 bytes X.X
