Pokemon Black and White 2 Cheats not working on R4?

Wish I knew what was wrong. Anyone have the same problem or have an idea on what to try?
I have the R4 RTS Lite and I'm trying to use cheats on Pokemon Black or White 2. For some weird reason they just don't work.
I got the codelist from here: http://filetrip.net/nds-downloads/cheat-files/download-cheatdat-2012-pokemon-black-2-u-white-2-u-all-the-best-and-latest-games-added-14-f30959.html
I got the roms from here: *removed*
When I activate the ones I want, they just don't work. I try the button combos, yet still no use
Please help if you can :)
