calvin_0wow Mawile new evolution look great. (not to mention a great ability to boot) cant wait to see what Gardevoir's mega evolution would look like... it seems like mega evolution arent part of the basic evolution line (baby, basic, stage 1 and stage 2) but rather a powered up form....

I dont think every pokemon gets a mega-form.
Maybe these forms are temporary, just like when Giratina changes form when it is given a Griseous orb.
And why are they giving a newer form to a Starter pokemon! Soo many questions, im really excited about this!

I think Absol looks weird, Blaziken looks awesome! :DWhat have they done to my all time favorite Lucario?!
Well atleast it has a new ability, Adaptability, so STAB on Aura Sphere, Bullet Punch, Close Combat!
Adaptability increases STAB from 1.5× to 2× :D Yaa! Huge power boost for Lucario!
I hope they give him a Signature Technique and a Better atk 'n spd stats!edit: Lucario doesnt look like an Aura Guardian anymore, he looks creepy and Evil!
Those Tentacle/ Ghostly wings with Red spikes on Lucarios back remind me of another very-creepy, kinda-evil pokemon:

i agree with Dark infernape , lucario no longer look like a aura guardian but looks like a guardian who has been corrupted like Davy Jones.
the fanart looks awesome !!i feel that there was no need to give a mega for to mawile but pokemon like golduck, steelix, marowak could have used this forms .

there should be a mega magikarp with the 'big splash' ability that does nothing.

Pokemon XYMega StonesMega Evolution is not possible for all Pokémon. Only certain Pokémon, under certain conditions, can achieve Mega Evolution. One of those conditions is a special item called a Mega Stone. These special stones exist for every Pokémon that can Mega Evolve, and each is named for the Pokémon to which it grants power.To use a Mega Stone, give it to your Pokémon to hold. Pokémon capable of Mega Evolution will gain access to their potential only if they first carry a Mega Stone into battle. Other things are needed for Mega Evolution to succeed, and those secrets will be explained later!

Some of the many Mega Stones seem to be hidden in secret places in the Kalos region. Finding every one of them will be one of the challenges awaiting you in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y!

Pokémon X & Y - Mega Evolution ClarificationSource: SerebiiA small note came out regarding further clarification on the Mega Evolutions.It details that with Mega Evolutions, you can only have one Mega Evolution Pokémon in battle. It's not known whether it's talking about all of the battle, or just within your team. This is presumably to allow for a specific balance in the Pokémon. It also clarifies that the Pokémon will revert after the battle has ended, not within it itself when the battle finishes. We're still not 100% on the specifics of this new process.
Lucario looks soo cool doesnt he?During the VGC Opening Ceremony, Junichi Masuda revealed a new Mega Pokémon, Mega Kangaskhan which has the baby Kangaskhan grow and come out of battle. It has the ability Parental Bond that allows its attacks to hit twice in one turn.It has also been confirmed that the Pokémon X & Y soundtrack will be available worldwide in November 2013 on iTunesMega Kangaskhan

They could have made the baby kangaskhan a seperate baby pokemon, like elikid pichu clifa etc etc...
