Please help out a noob!

I'm new to the whole emulation thing, so some dumbed down advice would be appreciated. I just downloaded Super Smash Bros. Melee from Romulation and I am trying to run it on a doplhin emulator. I have tried using WinRAR but to no success. Can anyone help me?
