TirithRRPopcap has been around for ages, they do all the addictive puzzle games for the PC. I wouldn't really classify them as indie... I'm pretty sure they have Bejewelled under the belt as well, which has been ported to the DS. Zuma and Peggle are on the PSN and Xbox Arcade. Alchemy, Chuzzle, and Bookworm are popular games, etc. Their list is a mile long.

Just because its INDIE it doesn't mean it's bad.A lot of games on Xbox Arcade are considered INDIE and people download then without noticing.
Anyway the classification of Plant VS Zombies is from somewhere I've read. Could be wrong. (even if your own description of PopCap games for me, are indie)

Again, not indie. Popcap is so large and well known they don't really need a publisher, and it's a team that consists of nearly 200 developers. The team is so large (the term indie suggests that it was made by a small team), this by definition makes Plants VS Zombies not an indie game.PVSZ is a casual game, it's not an indie game.

i got it free with me laptop but it was a demo good anyway so ill get this

The homebrew was never even finished and was a rather poor port if I'm not mistaken. This version should be far superior by miles and miles.
