hi, you can post pics of your ds here, let's see whose style gets 5 stars ;)This is my nds lite, used to be on crimson black color. This design only costs $8. I love my ds and I'm not buying a dsi cuz i don't want to give up slot 1, not quite sure if that's reasonable, but maybe I'll have to wait for nintendo's entirely new handheld...reason for editing: image uploaded to imageshack.

Question, how did you do this? If you detail how you went about this, I am definitely doing a conversion at some point.

I want one of those engraved ds's...But hard to find-no one will give them up :(Man, I like that ds of your dude!(wish I could find some psp shells...but another topic, another time)

I have the amazing Kermit green one. Not much style, but I sure don't lose it in the dark....

well actually that is just a protective shell, i got tired of replacing my fragile crystal case. you'll find lots of styles here for a very cheap price, i mean here in the philippines ;) sorry for my poor english

dude, you type with better grammar than 95% of english speakers on the internet.back to topic.I just have a blue dsi with a crystal case and screen protectors lol. i keep it in a neoprene case so it stays mint condition. got my iTouch 2 with an 8GB microsd in slot 1 and another 8GB microsd inside an adapter inside the SD card port.

My first DS mod. Was a Transparent Ghost case. Unfortunately was of poor quality and broke after only a few weeks.Mod I did a week after the Translucent one for my sister. Used parts from my Original DS & my sisters pink DS to make it.
Repair mod of my DS using spare parts. Ghost shell cracked and was not working

Everyone is pink on the inside ;)Fact: I've disassembled and reassembled my own DS over 5 times ::)
Also I run Fedora 11 now :)

you change the DS shell yourself? how much does one cost?here it costs around Php1500-2000, which is a lot in here.

I was looking into modding my DS case then the more I read about it the less I liked the ideal seeing how crappy the ghost shells are and other than stock shells I didn't see anything I liked, plus I read unless your real careful you can break the on/off switch and a few other tedious things so its not something for a beginner. Good detail disassembly and reassembly would be nice but I haven't found any yet.

As long as you use a fairly good case the install should take about an hour or so (5+ hrs with a crappy Ghost case :P ). Just be care and don't force anything. This one took only about 45minutes

(Chrome back, looks better when not smudged :P )

Hehe I have given up modding DSes, I'm currently on my 7th DS, standard white case :P
