some photos are just too damn gigantic. add an autocrop feature so if a huge photo is posted that is larger than the average post, it can become smaller. and then when you click it, it will open the full size photo in a different window or tab. it takes a hell of a long time to load a page with a huge photo in it than with a small photo in it.

1. Cropping often defeats the purpose of posting images in the first place
2. The "average post" size is proportional to your screen resolution
3. Many image-hosting sites provide thumbnail links (and there's a reason nobody uses them)
4. Unless you're stuck in the 90s, loading large images is not as big an issue as you think it is

I'm back to dial up so some pages are huge load times.

Welp, sucks to be you. You can probably set your browser to not load images if you so desire.

it should only be for a week. my mom and dad hired some people to renovate the house so we hace to stay in this cramped, dark, crappy hotel with no internet. I brought an internet stick which doesn't reach up to high speeds here so yes sucks to be me.

It is up to people to link to large images instead of embedding them. If we auto crop images we are required to host every single image on our servers. Do not want to.
