A former police officer working in Raccoon City before
and during the T-Virus outbreak. He was acknowledged by
the U.S. Government and asked to save the President's
daughter: Ashley Graham, held captive in a lonely part
of Europe by a religious cult calling themselves the
"Los Illuminados" (The main antagonists which are infected with Los Plagas).
He is later accompanied by Ada Wong and another familiar face
in his quest on saving Ashley. Leon encounters many enemies like
the Los Ganados, Zealots, Dr. Salvadors and the Big Cheese
(village chief- Bitores Mendez). The merchant, a man who
somehow rebels the Los Illuminados and is already infected by
Los Plagas aids Leon by selling him a variety of items and weapons
and also allows him to upgrade his weapons.Hey look! Its the big cheese!

The gameplay of Resident Evil 4 is more redefined then
the previous Resident Evil games enabling the character
with different actions during the game (e.g Los Ganados
try to crush Leon with a huge boulder while he trys and
out run it and dodge it with certain button combinations).
This game looks and plays like a third person shooter with
an extra few features like the action button. The controls
are great if you play the game using a gamepad (e.g XBOX360
controller) but players who dont have a gamepad will not
experince the full gameplay with mere keyboard controls.Yes.. you have to fight that :P
*Credits: GameFAQGraphics:At first when I started a new game, I was amazed at how
the game looked. But as playing along i started to see that
the lighting and graphic detail found in the PS2/Wii/GC was missing
on the PC version. Meaning that they didnt put as much effort
into porting the graphics over, but a patch was later released
adding lighting, fog effects, and other minor details. The overall
character designing look nice and the enemies encountered
look just about the same as the PS2/Wii version. Before patch on the top, and after patch on the bottom

*Credits: NeoGaf for comparison picture(Note: The "T" in There is missing but its not the patch but just a minor bug)Sound:
The sound in any shooting/action adventure horror game
is fundamental for locating enemy locations and for
atmospheric feel of the game. The overall sound isn't bad and
is quite helpful at times but sometimes when i shoot an
enemy and hear them scream something it appears they are
right next to me but they arent (lacks 3D sound effect IMO).
Though the sound really adds to the frightening surrondings
it could use a bit more touch ups.Replayability
This game specificly on the PC and Wii has tremendous
replayability with extra game modes like "Seperate Ways",
"Ada's Assignment" and "Mercanaries". The player can also
unlock various costumes and other little things. There are
3 different difficulty levels to play on so there is a lot of
replayability in this game.Mercanaries Mode:
