I'am giving my digimon world dusk game to my friend who's moving somewhere so we can play digimon still, I was just wondering, it says it "treats the DS game and DS as a set" does that mean he can't go on wifi with it? is there any way to reverse that?

He'll just need to get his own settings next time he goes online with the game. If worst comes to worst, have him make his own save file on his DS. Problem solved.

Just have him go on Wi-Fi on his DS. It should change the settings.

Should be. If you want him to start it up real quick to make sure, then you can do that.
Sadly I can't, we're picking them up at their house and going straight to the airport (and I don't think they have wifi) and airport wifi sucks. so your saying that it'll autmatically change it?

It will just be a little thing saying something about changing the settings. DS games have never been picky in that respect.

Yep.
I switched from the DSi to the DSi XL and Platinum just did that.
It's only a confirmation message that says the two are a pair and do you really want to change the settings.
