No bass?

My headphones is acting up, and my bass isn't working. It like has that static when you hear it. Can anyone help me out? I am using Windows XP(old, but better than Vista though)Here are some of the settings I have put:- Bass high, Treble mid
- Speaker setup: Stereo Headphones
- Hardware Acceleration: Full
- Sample rate conversion quality: Best

Do the bass frequencies work on other speakers? Maybe your headphones are the problem. They might not be able to handle the lower frequencies. I have had poorer quality stuff that was staticy/choppy when playing bass.

Which brand did you use?

I forgot to mention that it did work before. My headphones are from Logitech (ClearChat Premium to be specific)

Yeah, I can hear bass frequencies with normal speakers. I guess it is my headphones.TO STAPLES!(tomorrow maybe)
