Nintendo 3DS vs. PlayStation NGP

you can't make a comparison to something that isn't yet released.

All that we really have to go on with the NGP is speculations. If it can emulate PS2, I'm definitely going to get it. The 3DS looks great, but I'm going to need to see some better games though.

NGP Vs Wii HD Vs PS4 Vs XBOX 720 Vs Dreamcast 2 should be the real debate here.

none of those havent even be said yet except for the NGP(as far as i know)

sega neptune (successor to dreamcast) was abandoned.

There have been lots of rumours regarding a new Nintendo home console on the Web today, but I was just playing on the fact that this thread is pointless because there is barely any information on the "NGP" at all at the moment.

History is just going to repeat itself.
Everyone thought the PSP was going to own the DS hard but look what happened. Plus the Wii 2/ Project Cafe will own all (It has a better processor and graphic's than a PS3 for God's sake. Plus GTA V will be on it)

I thought so too until they released info about it, they even said they will start to focus more on games, I mean its been 4 years since they Wii, surely they would have a lot better technology now. Project Cafe will be playable at E3 (this was 100 % confirmed) so it would be great to check it out there.

Not really. I meant that I thought the graphics weren't going to be much better than the Wii's graphics until I found out it will be better than a PS3

The PSP is way better than the DS but the DS has games with a huge fanbase, the console itself doesn't mean a thing its the games, sony have to convince the important guys that their console is the best platform for their game. I think 3D is a gimmick that will die off somewhat when sony start pumping out some amazing games their hardware can handle and the 3DS cant.The only people I know with handhelds are kids or young adults, the older guys have home consoles, so nintendos kid friendly(but very good) games is a factor here too.I do believe that PS2 backwards compatability if it happens will tip things in favour of the NGP, Persona 4 on the move? Yes please :)
