I'm new at this, but I've already done a few.
I'm creating this thread for some advice (I expect none, but I need some ;P)
The quality goes from absolutely awful to mediocre
(at least by my low standards)
From oldest to my current sig:

^ I thought I would do far worse for my first, but yes, this is awful.
^ I'm ashamed of this one. Greatly.
^ This is a remake of my first failed sig....It also failed.
I might attempt a third time XD
^ This is meh though I do like the background.
^ I actually like this one. It's slightly generic, but ah well. And Naota's odd outlines were purposeful :S
^ I like this, even though it didn't blend well, and was also slightly unfitted ;P
^ Woo, my first holiday sig.

Well, other then that, good job. Try to expand your range htough, all your sigs are kindof pinkish/darker. Try going into different colors and theme for practice.(I.E. do a tank siggy, or one with megaman)

Agreed. Though my first attempt at a lighthearted sig failed (my worst sig, the second), I actually like bright colors.

I like most of them and I could tell you were going for that cartoony theme.Anyways if you were to expand a little bit you could at least make the backgrounds more abstract and make them blend into the characters a bit. Other than that nice layouts.

Well what exactly do you use for your sigs, is it GIMP, photoshop, and/or something else? I use only GIMP for my stuff, but I am also a newby at making sigs, so I cannot make anything close to what you have.

That's not specific at all XD
With such vague instructions, I'm worried the sig will be completely off-base with what you want....
And I don't have any particular tutorials yet. Doing basic crap now, to get used to it.
(I've had Photoshop for 2 days only....)
