New Idea: Send a text to our phone on new release

I have another site for household tips that send me a text when there is a new tip. I was thinking how nice it would be to receive a text on our phone when a new game has just been released. Just a idea.

It sounds like a resonable idea, and it'll be very handy...But prehaps for premium members-it'll cost a bit to get running so prehaps a charge is in order.Just a logical thought from previous experience.

You'd pretty much get a text everyday wouldn't you? Also, it might get costly to have to text people everyday
EDIT: Like above, probably should be for premium only

Doesn't romulation have a twitter account?

Ah yep, and romu also has the very useful RSS feed that can be read on phones that support them.

not happening, would cost too much.

Might happen for US people only, but world wide? Unlikely.

If you sign up for twitter I just noticed you can receive messages on your cell so does it cost romulation money to put a message on twitter as you could do releases that way I was just thinking.

no, but it costs twitter money to send the message, so more than likely they'll try to pass that cost on to you.

Not at all, they just only allow it for American people.

You don't pay for masssms (mass-sms) in the US?
