actually id figured something gotta be up on wifi since it was almost halloween(i got it on the 17th)and mew was up there

Sorry for the question, but how exactly do you obtain this Mew?
Along with Wi-fi, do you have to be in a certain stage in the game?

you can get it anytime. If I recall correct, I got it on my Japanese Heartgold like last year before I was on the fourth badge. It became part of my team lol.

You go to the Mystery Gift option on the main menu
Then go to Nintendo WFC
once you download the ticket go to the pokemart and talk to the guy in blue

The only thing you would need is to be far enough in the game to get a pokedex, and acess to a poke'mart.If you have those (which is impossible to NOT get), you need to go the entry screen of the game (where you choose continue, new game, etc.) then select the Mystery Gift option. You would then select to download from the Nintendo WFC. After that, you should get your mew!

Oh and talking about about natures, its possible to abuse the game by saving before talking to the guy in green. Just keep reseting until you get the one with the right nature..... a bit to late for that I guess.
