New ePSXe 1.7 out now

The newly awaited ePSXe v1.7 is out now, after years with no updates! See the changelog.Short changelog:
Multiple changes has been done in the Pad support.
The internal SPU plugin has been updated to the 1.7.0 version.
The iso support code has been rewritten.
The MDEC decoder has been rewritten.
A new version of the Pete's Software Plugin is included.
The XA/CDDA support has been worked in this new version.
Many things have been fixed in the cd-rom decoder and the core.http://epsxe.com/download.php

I dowloaded this new version and work better with the games , and have more compatibility , for instance in vampire hunter appear the menu ;Dnice update ;D ;D

I tried to play DW2 using this emulator, but it didn't work will like in version 1.6
i still has some bugs :(

That doesn't matter though, the important thing is its back under active development, so bugs will get fixed.

Dragon Warrior I presume. Just continue playing it on the old version.

I don't think that Dragon Warrior 2 ever came out on PSX, but then again the only game that I can think of is Dynasty Warriors 2 which was PS2.

Yes, you will still need the bios file as it's illegal to have the bios file with the emulator, the plugins that come with ePSXe are shit, so yes, you should download the better plugins. Pete's plugins etc. have been updated for v1.7, so they should be better.

Got a Problem when installing the new 1.7 version! > This application failed to start because zlib1.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem. happens when i try and open the app. If anyone know s the fault can you please let me know.
