I have an original DS but have started thinking now about upgrading to getting a DSi XL as the bigger screens will be better for me. I found out the edge cartridge i use for my DS won't work on the DSi XL so have been looking around for other carts.I first came across the acekard 2i card that seemed to be good but have read you need to have a DSi so you can update the firmware or something. I've also just found out about the DS Two which sounds like it's better.What i want to know is if i buy a DSi XL is there a card out there that i can just put in, upgrade to its newest settings and just get on and play or do i need a DSi to be able to do anything with the XL? I don't know anyone with a DSi so it'll prove quite the problem
