Need some game suggestions

Hey, guys.I've just finished both of the Gears Of War games and, to be honest, I'm kinda addicted to it. lol
Right now, I'm thinking of getting another shooter title for my 360.Can anyone give me some suggestions? Any shooter game that are almost similar to the Gears?

dont know about similar to gears of war but the call of dutys are probably the best shooters.
dead space has a similar viewpoint to the gears, its not a bad game

I've tried the first Modern Warfare and it's not bad but still didn't match up to the gears :)
Dead Space? I'm gonna check it out. Any zombie game is worth a shot, right? haha :)

At E3 they showed Gears 3, and it looked pretty good. Not sure when it will be released though.

I'm a huge Gears fan myself, and other games I liked were Aliens vs Predator (too bad the online's about dead now), Far Cry 2, Modern Warfare 2, and Red Dead Redemption. Especially RDR, I'm really addicted to it right now.Can't wait for gears 3 too :>

Similarities include: Amazing Co-Op Gameplay,3rd person shooter and etc.

it does if you pay attention... they're escaping to where all the survivors are located. and they all link together if you pay attention if you're playing campaign, and if your not paying attention/playing other gametypes.

It has a story, although barebones, it's just them running away. With the exception of 'The Sacrifice' which is the survivors running away and one of the L4D1 people sacrifice themselves to save the others.

It doesn't need videos for a story. I suggest you go play chronotrigger or final fantasy 6.
you can not bring up games that where on snes. and they do have videos not like the one in games now.i stand by what i say l4d dose not have a story. it dose not tell how the people become zombies or what cause it in the first place.i play the game. it is fun with other people but trying to see my self play it on my own not going to happen.

similar to gears? thats hard. but a good third person shooter is army of two. for FPS go with: Halo, CoD, Farcry, Bioshock series. Also a good fps is quantum of solace

I can bring up any system I like, I was making a point that games do not require a video to tell a story.
And I don't remember any videos from chronotrigger.
