I downloaded this game as a "try before I buy" from a torrent, I also checked the requirements and I have more than enough to play it. I mounted the image with Daemon lite and it installed as far as I could tell, but I also had to download some patches and a patching tool, and I can't seem to get the damn thing to work. I followed the readme instructions and I keep getting "not responding" for a minute or two then it acts as if it is about to do something then it reads "not responding" and I left it alone for about 20 minutes and nothing seems to be working so I said the hell with it and stopped it.When I downloaded the game (v1.00) the instructions claimed not to have internet on and not to allow it to auto update, my question is how the hell do I update the game and get the patches to work? I fully admit I have no clue what the hell I am doing since I rarely fool with PC games in the first place, and its starting to look like I am going to have to hunt down the original game.Sorry if this seems long I am just aggravated I wasted over a day downloading this and wasted alot of hours trying to get it to patch, since then I have installed the game but I have the image still ready for a fresh installation.Any help/comments are appreciated and as always if I placed this in the wrong place please move, and thanks in advance.[Edit] OK I figured it out finally...I went ahead and went against the instructions and allowed it to self update from 1.00 to 1.22 took about an hour then I had to change a few settings with my mouse, but it works for now.
