Just as the title says, I'm thinking of building a new gaming computer but i don't know which parts would be best. The budget I have to spend is roughly around 780 USD.Thanks in advance.

Wait a while and save more money. I think with game requirements going up with games hitting new-gen levels, as well as new tech coming out right now you'll be better off waiting a bit for prices to go down, then you'll have more money for better tech that will last longer.

I see your point but I kinda need to build a new PC since my current PC is just extremely outdated and slow for me to use any further. This current PC is also going to be used by my mom since she needs her own computer for work needs. I know that if i build a pc now with the amount of money that i have that it won't be able to play the newer games that are going to be released at a setting that will allow me to enjoy it in all it's aspects but if I were to build a PC with the money that i have now, what parts would you recommend?

look at an AMD APU system. (Socket FM2+). Pair a quad core APU with 8 or 16 of fast ram and you have a decent gaming system for not a whole lot of money.

The quad core being AMD as well? And any recommendations for a graphics card? Not really that high on the list of priority for parts as i already have an Nvidia GT 630 but i get the feeling that won't last too long in the long run. So, any recommendations?

APUs don't need a graphics card, there's a radeon HD 7 or 8 series built in to the cpu.

Even if it does have a built in GPU, can I still use my old graphics card along side it?

that depends what your old graphics card is.

My old graphics card is an Nvidia GT 630. Not sure if the Radeon graphics card that comes with the APU is better than that but not sure if my Nvidia is better than that Radeon either.

apu has a hd8xxx radeon, so that's probably the better unit. I wouldn't recommend running a nvidia gpu on an apu anyway, while it would work fine they aren't optimised to work together like radeons are.
