P
judekhanzoI don't understand, step by step me through this if you can.
Simply drag the .NDS file onto the .EXE
a dialog box in chinese will show up
there are 2 buttons, press the left button
then a .bak file will show up
then another box will show up telling you its done
press the button to ok it
delete the .bak file
use the .nds which is already patched
done

Yeah, that doesn't even happen for me. When I drag the rom onto the .exe I get that error message that only has an "OK" button on it. After I click OK nothing else happens.

In that case might as well wait until there's an uploaded version of the pre-patched.
R
Worked for me. It was getting stuck at Alltrades Abbey. Just a black screen and music. Applied the patch, and presto.
F
seems to be working on my m3 with the patch
J
Can someone upload a pre-patched rom? The patcher program doesn't work for me.
I

P
pre-patched now available in the download of the top post, thanks to iluvfupaburgers.

So the patch rom doesn't work on the CycloDS(i) firmware? Guess we'll just need to wait for a new patch or a new firmware update.

The patch work so far on YSmenu, Wood, and M3.
S
Danggit, not working on Edge 2.1.
I wonder how long we'll have to wait again to play this game...*sigh*

Is the above to be use on the clean rom or the pre-patched? Cause so far with the patch file from Retro it can run on YSMENU v.4.49 (as it is) and Wood R4DS v.1.24.
G
Can anyone please confirm whether the patched version works on edge ver. 2.1?

To be used on a clean ROM - for them who don't like to be lazy!, and what it auto done for them with a patcher, I learn alot can be this way thease days they what every think done for them, i can't , how do you do it est est, i can do it, they just don't even give it a go are try
@grimeyes sorry i don't have an edge card
P
@grimeyes;Yes, in GBATemp the patch been tested on Edge 2.1 and CycloDS, they said it work perfectly. But that's according to them, I don't have Edge cart. So I can't firmly confirm.@Jhon;You're right, the offset you provided only work on the clean/unpatched rom for YSMENU/TTMENU. I think you should start looking into making offset for the patched version too, as using the offset and pre-patched will cause the rom to freeze upon pressing start.
J
@prectorianWhat are you talking about you can not patch a patched ROM ?All i did this moring was used both original untuched ROM and use the patched ROM, and did a compare with HexCmp, with both ROMS, Then got the required offsets and data needed to patch the clean ROM yourself Manuely.Shame that they was not the (J) ROM in extinfo.dat to play teh ROM clean as that would have bean helpfull to play the ROM on DSTT/YSMenu clean without having to patch the ROM with a patcherI wonder why they was not a (J) ROM fix in extinfo.dat... - Nomaly they are right on it

You're right.
But I thought the J version has been incorporated into the dats in the past. Or am I wrong, or maybe it was patched using Rudolph's. Its been to long for me to remember.

Sorry no YVIJ in extinfo.dat for the (J) ROM, only in infolib.dat to speedup the ROM loading time, as they are no errcodes on loading up
I just added the YVIE (U) ROM to infolib.dat this moring - super fast booting
I suppose RGF might get around to fixing the AP in extinfo.dat soon in his next release
I have also updated titlelist5558.xml for TTdT.exe a extinfo.dat/infolib.dat/savlib.dat editor - every ROM listed upto date
