NDS - Classic or Lite?

PhilytronEven though i own a ds lite and not a classic ds, in my opinion the classic is better because its more hardy. I mean I don't know what Nintendo was thinking when they made the lite because i have never seen something that could break so easily out of any handheld console. The only reason I bought a lite instead of a classic was because i liked how it looked and I figured that newer was better (which I was apparently wrong in this case), What do you think? ???
you're an idiot. my ds phat broke within a month of using it. my ds lite has been with me for ages and i treat it as good as i used to treat the lite

The classic was a brick, I don't see any advantages with it. The lite improved it in every way.As for the durarbity they are the same niether break too eaisly (depends what people are doing with them :-\).

My phat is lasted longer with my brother than his lite.Proof-he's snapped in half-yet the phat survived being dropped, smash and, well, other un-imaginable acts of gaming torture (both are rare coloured ds's-grathite black and dark blue)I noticed that the lite's snap in the same place-hinge-right side. That is the weakest part of the dslite-if you look around eb games or second hand dealers you will find them...Also-If your in australia and you own a dogy ds-that'll be my fault-eb don't check for touch screen damage-just on and off :)
