NASA's New Asteroid Mission Could Save the Planet

For one, the moon is far better to save us than an asteroid cause the moon has a specific route than a asteroid. An asteroid doesn't circle the earth and we dont even know when it would be beneficial to us.Also, how can an asteroid would save us? It would be a waste of money to budget such an expedition. Is Obama really wasting american money?

he just testing IF nasa have what it take to change the route of a moving asteroid, just in case if one happen to coming right for us in the future to prevent another K-T event from happening again.
