Nanostray / Space Invaders similar game for NDS ?

Hi
For some time I'm looking for a game with a starship fighter , I mean something like the old arcade vertical-scrolling space shooters.
I found of course Space Invaders and it's versions and Nanostray but is there anything else besides this two?

There is :" Bangai-O " and " Ketsui "

bangai o is no way near nanostray or space invaders. what about star fox commando or something along those lines??galaxy warsis that space invaders extreme or the space invaders revolution?
i don't believe there are much arcade space shooters on the ds.there used to be a lot of shooters during the ps1 days but got decimated [it became saturated].

Cuz Space Invaders doesn't look very nice (revolusions and extreme) or at least I don't like the new design and Nano Stary well it's horizontal scrolling ;)
Star Defender - maybe some of you may know this game is a good example for what I' m looking for.

how about space invaders?there is a ds version

Ketsui IS vertical and it's considered one of the best cave shooters

Geometery Wars: Galaxies is an excellent game arcade shooting game.

AGREED. This is my most favorite shooter on the DS, just constant action and a smooth buildup. Hoping and praying for a sequel to this.Not many good classic side-scroller or top-down shooters on the DS. I found Space Megaforce on the SNEmulDS emu works pretty well for a few levels. Maybe you could find some old arcade shooters that work under the DS version of Mame??Maybe Nintendo will release older console titles for the Turbographix and Genesis for the DSi as they've done with the Wii. *shrug*

Zombie BBQ kinda looks like a vertical shooter
