more distinct news shower

could the new news shower be more distinct its kinda hard to tell what news is new right away due to the shade of gray being too light, could it be darked or have"new" shown next to the titles?

I thought it did say 'new' next to it.

It doesn't.

I see the lions are on hallucinogens again :P

No, it used to, but it was removed. Regardless, it says the date to the right of the news title.
