Monster raising games

Hey, I'm looking for games that feature prominent monster raising aspects, something like digimon world adventures and such, to tide me over till monster rancher comes out.

You didn't say what system so I'm guessing any?
I think there's a raising game called Tamagochi or something.

Oh yea, sorry, I meant for the ds~
