Mega Man 64 Question

Hi, I'm considering buying a real copy of Mega Man 64 (can play on pc but annoyingly lags). But anyway do you need a expansion pak or anything extra to play or save the game. Bcause I only have a N64 with no extra accersories. I appreciate the the helpful responses, thanks!

no i don't think it needs a memory card to save it, but i could be a little off
