mario and luigi super star saga not running on no$gba

I downloaded mario and luigi super star saga's rom and tried to play it with my no$gba, but when I choose a profile to start the game it shows a pop-up message that says:
"no gba fatal
the rom image has crashed"I really like this game and wanted to play it again, so, if someone knows how to fix this, please, let me knowthanks in advance ;)

what, of all that info, is exactly what I need? there are too many stuff there and most of them are for nds games so

If you use no$gba2.6a and play it though no$zommer , then edit no$zoomer.ini file edit usecrypt=0 to usecrypt=1 and save ini file , also have firmware.bin in same folder as the emulator , reset emulator and re-run the game

I'll try to figure out what that means, and give it a shot XD, thanks
